“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.”-Romans 8:28
I had it all planned out from the moment I graduated from high school; major in Journalism and be like Oprah. This was it for me because a boring desk job was not the life for me.
But God had other plans for me. When he gave me a vision in 2012 I shoved it back at him because I thought that he was crazy. How on earth was I supposed to accomplish that? But, he just kept shoving it right back at me and wouldn’t let me turn it loose. When I wanted to return to my old ways, thoughts, habits, and comfort zones, he weighed heavily on me and made it hard to settle in that thought process. When I tried to go in another direction and find a different comfort zone, he shut it down completely. When I came into an agreement with naysayers about giving up on my dream, he drowned out whatever they were saying and turned me back toward him. And when I wanted to give up on my life altogether, he pulled me back in and embraced me.
Jesus stalked me. Where would I be if he hadn’t stalked me? God predestined you to stand out and live out your purpose and your passions. He sent Jesus to stalk you and keep you on the right track towards your dreams. I know it sounds weird because stalking is illegal in all 50 states but allow Jesus to stalk you. He has a greater plan for you than anything you can think of for yourself.
